Re: HTML rollover code gets kicked out

Tried disabling WYSIWYG editor, cleared browser and system cache. No joy. Either something wrong with my syntax, code in general or the way I hold my face. Will take advice and re-work in CSS (though it turns out rollover “…not that important really”). Just goes to show, a little knowledge is never ...

HTML rollover code gets kicked out

Hi Guys, I'm trying to add a simple rollover to a button on this page: https://historypoints.org/index.php?page=llandrindod-wells-railway-station The current code works perfectly as per: <div style="float: left; margin-right: 15px;"><a href="{cms_selflink href='railway-history'}"...

Hi Guys, Our site has never run better following recent upgrades etc but there is an issue or two. ISSUE ONE: When using file manager the following error is reported when clicking any folder icon “Not Found. The requested URL was not found on this server”. If we change the "Current Working Fold...

OT (sort of)

If you're an old fart like me you will have long discovered the benefits of sorting out your own problems. For a start you remember the fix in future. A forum search is great for this. However, there are times when you are in over your head and need help, paid help. I did this recently and am glad I...

[SOLVED] Upgrade to 2.1.2 from 1.11.9

Hi folks, sorry but I'm way behind the times. I'm running 1.11.9 and want to get up to date.
Assuming I can't leap from 1.11.9 to 2.1.2 which packs should I install before 2.1.2.
Thanks for your patience.
Eugene.

Re: Converting Content into Int Links page count still high?

Thanks to all for your assistance once again. Can I just ask one question before I slope off to mould some anchors...? Our pages are intended to be accessible via their URL's being embedded in QR codes forming mini-plaques or window stickers (about 900 or so in place already). Therefore each page (H...

Re: Converting Content into Int Links page count still high?

Thanks Calguy for clarifying that. Trouble is, now I've seen the extent of the redundant pages I can't not tidy them up as it where. It's all those wasted "clicks" by the poor user, I can't stand to see them. Comes from being borderline CDO (OCD but arranged alphabetically, like it should ...

Re: Converting Content into Int Links page count still high?

Thank you so much Paul for having a look at the site. I'll certainly have a look at that as an option for the next phase which is going to be a separate installation for historypoints.uk as we're getting enquires from England but don't want to mix them in with the existing site which was intended to...

Re: Converting Content into Int Links page count still high?

Cheers Dr CSS, I've only just got into the clean up process, in fact I reckon I've just scratched the surface. I was really just trying to ensure I wasn't doing anything wrong as the page count in Cache & Content wasn't getting any lower even though I'd converted several pages into Internal Page...

[SOLVED] Converting Cntnt to Int Links pg count still high?

Hi Guys, Through lack of forethought and bad management on my part I find myself trying to rid http://www.historypoints.org/ of oodles of redundant pages which I'm converting into internal page links instead of almost empty content. This is because of what appears to be a ridiculously/unnecessarily ...

Re: [SOLVED] Save Me or Shoot Me! White Pages Again.

Thanks for that advise Dr.CSS The virtually redundant pages are there because I couldn't see an obvious way of making a non-content menu item reveal a list of children on-click. The idea of making a section header, add children convert header to link to first child clearly wasn't obvious enough for ...
