Re: Vulnerability or not?
We are doing our best to try to release it in the next few weeks. The issue has been that work has been getting in the way, and delaying the development quite a bit. Not committing to it, but I'm really hoping to release in the next couple of weeks.

Re: Vulnerability or not?
The vulnerabilities of the libraries that make part of CMSMS may affect the whole, part or none of the CMSMS core depending on circumstances. We are almost always notified of them as soon as they are discovered, and have to assess whether these vulnerabilities are exploitable in the CMSMS context or...

Re: Importing new users to MAMS?
Anything in the PHP error logs? That would help track it down. Being a fork it may be an inherited bug or it could be introduced in the forking process. Also, knowing the PHP version in that install would help. Always try to give as as much info as possible, please.

Re: LISE and FEU
As new PHP versions are released older modules are expected to either fail or have security issues that are not known right now but may become a problem, so you will be able to bide your time quite a bit depending on your hosting provider, but eventually you'll have to move on from old unmaintained ...

Re: File Upload Module with File Deletion?
Just don't upgrade FEU to versions 3.x if you are planning to migrate later to MAMS. It's not impossible but a bit more complicated...

Re: Lise name of uploaded file
When I use an "uploads file" type field, the name of the file stored in the file manager is simply that of the file sent. So if two files have the same name there are no uploads. Although the File Upload type doesn't have yet that feature, you can use the directory name template to make s...

No files have been released yet, but a release is on the way. The time has been limited but it's almost finished, it's just a bit of a waiting game.

Re: Site admin is very slow
Mmmm.... that smells like a ModSecurity issue. Both files have to include the same CMSMS libraries for the backend so they behave in a very similar way up until a certain point. One of the things they have to handle is the security key or token to certify the session and the user. Then they include ...

Re: Site admin is very slow
Typically, but not exclusively, this issues are related with poorly configured server antivirus which may find some false positives in some code patterns, file names or behaviors and try to prevent its execution. It's usually time consuming to dig in and debug what it may possibly be the cause behin...

Re: Module Uploads
Actually that page needs updating: JMDownMan will be replaced by DownMan; Uploads has been forked and the replacement is UpMan; Weird as it may seem, those are different modules with different objectives so it will make sense: DownMan is just a Down loads Man ager which allows administrators to publ...

Re: FEU enhanced passwords
Ah yes, you need PHP 7.4 to run the most recent versions of CMSMSExt, MAMS, etc. Even CMSMS will require PHP 7.4 as a minimum in next release. We are trying to have everything ready for at least PHP 8.0 as fast as we can, if not PHP 8.1 right away. However at that point we'll have to motivate 3rd pa...
