Cataloger template modification - help needed

Hi all, I am trying to modify a Cataloger template to display categories and items in a certain way, but as I am not a programmer I have some difficulties to achieve what I need. So, it's a tourist agency site. The hierarchy is:     Country         Town             Hotels Now, in a town category I n...

Modules handling

Hi, one thing I oftenly struggle with is module manager and the way modules show up. Whether I use older or the newest version of CMSMS what happens is to find out the module  either requires newer version or it is not supported by the current one, and I need to install it to be aware of this. It wo...

Problem with cataloger attributes

Hi, I use cataloger on couple of sites, and there is an issue present even in latest version (the last site uses latest versions of both cataloger and CMSMS). When I create attributes I would like them to show up in admin section in order I made them, but they appear to show in very strange way. I.e...

Re: HELP.. cannot modify Global Content Blocks in CMSMS 1.1.4.1

What do you have for the checkbox "Enable GCB WYSIWYG" in User-Preferences. Starting with 1.1 the new default editor is TinyMCE. Try unchecking the checkbox, to see if it works without a WYSIWYG. Ronny OK, I did that and still the same. If hitting submit - blank page appears, if hitting a...

Re: HELP.. cannot modify Global Content Blocks in CMSMS 1.1.4.1

I have the same problem on several sites. It came after upgrade to 1.1, through all later versions and I encounter the problem in 1.2 also. Creating a new block works, but editing is impossible.

1.1.2 hates Cataloger?!?

Here I am again. After solving the broken site problem it turned out Cataloger doesnt work properly. Actually, the pages with Cataloger categories stop loading when reaching the {content area}. On the other side, the item pages show correctly. I moved a copy of the site to my PC and same happens. th...

Re: [solved] URGENT!!! Root pages blank, child pages load partly

AjaxMadeSimple was the problem. I installed the newest version, and it killed my site. Don't sak me why! This could be usefull for developers I guess. After this I have a huge problem with cataloger, for it's completely broken. But the site is back and that's important. Thanks for the help, guys. Mi...

Re: URGENT!!! Root pages blank, child pages load partly stop at {content}, admin

I discovered this:

If the content type is content the page comes blank. If it is something else like catalog item or category it opens the header and stopes where the content should be.

Re: URGENT!!! Root pages blank, child pages load partly stop at {content}, admin

For some very complicated reasons I cannot reach httpd error log soon enough. Any suggestion so I could try and fix this as fast as possible? What on earth could happen with this content?

I checked all the config files, all the paths, it's all correct.

Re: URGENT!!! Root pages blank, child pages load partly stop at {content}, admin

After the upgrade to 1.1.2, the site showed, or the backend worked. Everything worked. Actually this was the second upgrade, first was form 1.0 to 1.1, and had no problem at all. You did delete the tmp/cache/SITEDOWN file? Yes. There is a active-page selected as default page in the content? Ronny Y...
