Re: workaround for google map containing frames?

You can easily use the GGGoogleMap-Extension which allows you to add even more than one point to a map
and you can define the template for the map yourself

Re: Escaped Characters

You should declare this as a bug:

renaming a UDT with wrong name should throw error message as well as creating UDT with wrong name

Give it a BUG!!!! in the subject ;=)

I adore your patience!

Re: CMSMS 1.6.6 in UTF-8, but some modules still in latin-1 charset ?

Hi Peciura,

not, you misunderstand me.
It is a new installation. Everything is in UTF-8

But when I install some modules, like CGGoogleMap, they install their tables in LATIN-1.

And that is my problem.

Re: Joomla Site redesign with CMSMS -

I assume that Drupal is better fitting for this task .. as one of its core functions is frontend-editing of many many users

just my 5 cents ;=)

Nobody has an answer for me?

Should I avoid modules with "old" table-collation  or not?

CMSMS 1.6.6 in UTF-8, but some modules still in latin-1 charset ?

I noticed that some modules (not outdated ones) still use latin-1 charset and collation instead of utf-8 I noticed that CGGoogleMaps 1.4.1 which needs CMSMS minimum 1.6.5 still uses this old standard. Now my question: as for a website which needs UTF-8 reallly because of umlauts etc., is there a ris...

Suggestion for CGGoogleMaps / adding points

Hi! I use CGGoogleMaps 1.4.1 with CMSMS 1.6.6 I had to create a map with a lot of points (more than 50) I found it very uncomfortable that after saving a new mappoint, the point list is loaded and you have to scroll down the list, find "Add map point" and start over again I suggest to add ...
