Re: CG Blog images not showing: using odd URI
Oh, and... this is a new development, and as far as I can tell I've not changed any settings anywhere (and no-one else has access).

[Solved] CG Blog images not showing: using odd URI
SOLVED: Entirely unrelated issue, my fault. Was trying to use a different description meta tag for one section of the site - so I removed the call to the global meta tags in the template used for that section, and copied them over, but missed the bit. Doh. You ignore "DON'T REMOVE THIS"...

Re: Embargo posts in CGBlog?
Ah, OK - thanks. At least I'm not missing anything, and we've got 15 years to come up with a solution (not quite as serious as the Millennium Bug issue, though!!!).

[Solved] Embargo posts in CGBlog?
Hi - I suspect I'm just being stupid, but I can't see a way to embargo posts in the CGBlog module without setting an expiration date. That is - the "Post Date" seems to have no effect on when the article will appear (if it's set in the future, it will still appear in the current summary v...

Re: Number of comments (CGFeedback)
Just wanted to summarise for beginners as it took me a little while to get the above straight in my head, although all the information is already there... example was I wanted a blog 'front page' to list how many comments were associated with a given post. First set up a "ratings template"...

Re: Error display with captcha after upgrade and only captcha hd veryfies
Just stumbled into the same problem - am upgrading from 1.5.2 to 1.6.7 (so far) so was a bit concerned to see this.
Have downgraded from 0.4.1 to 0.4 as you suggested, which seems to work fine. Should I be concerned that 0.4.1 didn't work, is there something I'm missing?

Re: 1.5.2 to 1.6.7 / 1.7 - viable? [ANSWERED: YES]
Your first mistake was running site.com/install it should have been site.com/install/upgrade.php... I wondered about this - but there were conflicting instructions on the upgrading section of the wiki . The original instructions were as you say (step 6: site.com/install/upgrade.php), but I think t...

Hmmm... uploaded 1.6 over 1.5.2, uncompressed it, ran site.com/install and it was a disaster! Selected language at first step, and could get no further... got a message saying "Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ...site.../lib/classes/class.contentoperations.inc.php on l...

Re: 1.5.2 to 1.6.7 / 1.7 - viable? [ANSWERED: YES]
It's not mentioned anywhere - do I have to set permissions on any of the folders before installing the 1.6 version? There are a few folders that have to be set writeable for a clean install, not sure if I have to do this for an upgrade install...

Re: 1.5.2 to 1.6.7 / 1.7 - viable?
Oh no, that link was really helpful - what happened to that page? If I remember rightly from last night, the basic steps were: - Back up everything - everything! - also keeping copies of all templates, custom stylesheets, whatever in text file(s) - as you outlined in your backup instructions - also ...

1.5.2 to 1.6.7 / 1.7 - viable? [ANSWERED: YES]
Hi all - so like many others, the site was working fine so I ignored it longer than I should have. I know. I've got to that point where I really need to upgrade to make use of new modules to replace some that aren't getting updated any more (e.g. old blogs module). Without getting too detailed, as...

Preselect email form pull-down based on link?
So I've got a pretty standard contact form at www.stonewaterzen.org/index.php/contact-us . Unsurprisingly, the default value for the recipient pull-down list is "Select one" - I think it's form builder's 'default default' if you see what I mean. I'd like, though, to be able to have a dif...

Content block to nag users to upgrade old IE6 / IE7 browsers
Have been finding this useful... I'm sick of designing for 23 different browsers, most of which are old & only 2% of my users still have them. But of course I don't want those 2% to leave... and they're the 2% that are most likely to just turn off their computers and say, "Oh, I don't unde...
