Re: News Module - sort by category not working?
An update on this: The sort by news_category did have a bug, and the bug is listed as solved in CMSMS version 1.11.11. In addition: sortby='news_summary' should be sortby='summary' in the example above.

Re: News Module - sort by category not working?
Hi Velden I tried your suggestion and altered the code on line 148 as described in the bugfix. This worked for some of the sorting: This works as expected: {news number='5' sortby='start_time''} {news number='5' sortby='end_time'} {news number='5' sortby='news_data'} {news number='5' sortby='news_ti...

[solved] News Module - sort by category not working?
Hello - after an upgrade from 1.11.9 to 1.11.10, News module apparently will no longer sort by category. I have tested this on a clean install on 1.11.10. Summary of news: {news number='5' detailpage='news'} Default sorting, most recent newsitem first, as expected. {news number='5' detailpage='news'...

Re: News Module admin problem - upgrade 1.10.3 to 1.11.8
Hi, thanks for suggesting this. The problem has been solved - after a couple of days, I downloaded the core files for 1.11.9 again, upgraded with the new files, and things were sorted out: no missing sort-options, and no mysterious error. The files I were using apparently were not allright. Guess I ...

Re: FormBuilder as a simple downloadmanager?
Hi Angela, thanks for answering.
Actually I found the solution with FormBuilder. I chose *Email to User-Supplied Email Address, which sends a mail to the address the user provides. The mail is now sent with the sites CMSMailer address as sender, which is what I wanted.
Regards, Lone

Re: Keep left menu open OneEleven theme
A click on the menuitem icon to the left on the menuitem of the main categories, will open the menu like an ordinary CMSMS menu (no javascript) and will keep it open on page refresh - maybe what you want?
Edit:
Sorry, I just saw you asked for several open at a time.

Re: In admin area: show who is logged in
Cool, if it can be done as a plugin.
Would be a nice feature out of the box, though

In admin area: show who is logged in
I support a couple of sites, that has grown from small sites to large sites that have multiple editors. On these sites it would be very nice to get a hint in the admin, as to who is logged on the admin of the site, at the same time. Perhaps in the right corner: Welcome: (username1) Also logged in: (...

Re: HEAD requests force server down
Okay, thanks for clarifying about HEAD requests. It is indeed the amount of requests that has brought the server down. A closer look at the server logs show this pattern: 12 requests in 1-2 minutes for one page. 12 for another page on the same site in the same amount of time. 12 requests for a third...
