Re: Help with collecting address & and automatically send em

Form Builder is more than capable of doing what your asking for. I have uploaded a zipped up XML example that should get you up and running, email to and from addresses will need updating as well as the HTML email template for the 'Email' field. http://www.threefolddigital.co.uk/Website_signup.xml.z...

Re: CgExtension not upgrading

Have you read the new CGExtensions spec, it requires PHP 5.4 minimum.

I'm guessing you don't have that version of PHP hence the errors.

Hi,

By all means use it on your site, and I guess thanks for pointing out the display issue. Should be fixed now.

Re: Simple Fix for someone I'm guessing but really need the

Definately a CSS issue.

You test page has styling for both the .sy-slides-wrap, .sy-slides-crop, .sy-list and .sy-slide classes that your main site doesn't.

Add that styling and see how you get on from there.

Re: Best solution for mobile version?

I design/build all my site to a minimum of 968px wide, anything less than that can get out in terms of desktop browsers. So for me desktop/large tablet is 968px and above, and mobile/small tablet is 967px and below. Neither need to see styling for the other, as it generally won't result in a good us...

Re: Best solution for mobile version?

My point is mainly, why would someone on a desktop machine want to see your mobile style navigation? This will happen if they resize their browser to your CSS break points. Plus depending on what your break points are the same may happen on iPad's and other larger tablets, which again seems daft and...

Re: Best solution for mobile version?

But that means if someone resizes their desktop browser they will see your mobile nav, nobody wants that.

You choice though.

Re: Best solution for mobile version?

I would suggest you look into CSS media queries if you want a 'responsive' site (Google @media). Although I would recommend 'adaptive' instead, this is where you use something like PHP to detect whether the device is mobile, tablet or desktop and then use @media queries in your CSS. The 'adaptive' r...

Re: Need help for one page scroll template!

One page sites are just how blogs have worked for years.

One page with all the content on it, why would you need multiple pages?

Surely Google doesn't take into account how many pages your site has, it's got to be based on traffic, links and most of all content.

Just guessing though.

Re: Need help for one page scroll template!

Because your using a one page design it is what it is, so you should/will only have one page title/description etc. In my opinion, as long as you have all your relevant keywords appearing on the site and your HTML is structured properly Google will be clever enough not to care about separate pages. ...

Adding something like this into your .htaccess file should do it.

Code: Select all
