Modifying the source code is no longer necessary: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,11689.msg58559.html#msg58559 Smiley

The only disavantage that I can think of is that you'll have to modify action.default.php every time you upgrade. Wink

It's a bit sad this was not implemented in version 1.1.

This has stopped working in 1.0.5.
You'll probably need to edit the News file again.

Elijah, what do you mean by edit the news file again?
The news template?
The page selected to show news?

Does this process still work on version 1.1.2  ?

For me it worked fine in version 1.0.4 but I did all the changes in another site with version 1.1.2 and its not working.

You mean it works well with the old instructinos given by Elijah?

or using this new instructions: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,11689.msg58559.html#msg58559

Because I understood the old instructions and applyied them on 3 of my sites with cmsms version 1.0.4 and it worked well on the 3 of them.

But now I tryied the old instructions on how to do it on version 1.1.2 and it doesnt work.

and to be honest I dont understand the new instructions (http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,11689.msg58559.html#msg58559)

I prefer to make it work as Elijah tells us too, as I allready make it work 3 times and was very easy.
Its wierd I could make the news title to display in the page title 3 times in other of my sites and now I cant do in on of my sites with version 1.1.2

Appreciate any help on making it work

Thanks
