I have got to much the same position as Ronn a few posts back in this thread and am also stuck.
I make all under the instruction in the module (FLVPlayer 1.0.2)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have installed the player as well as the module, created a genre and member etc , but no joy.
Any suggestions what I should look for?

Also I'm wondering about the URLs that need to be set in Prefernces. The example shows them as http://localhost/whatever. I have them like http://www.mydomainname.com/myfolder/myflashplayer.swf.....is that wrong?

Thanks
Andy

hi mates,

i'm wondering... is this module working? i tried about every kind of setups for hours... and i'm not able to play a flv.  Cry

and what's the ufo.js file? i was looking around in the templates... seems like pretty useful. but i could'nt find it on my ftp. could that be a reason?

by the way... i am designer, so... that could be the main reason it does not work! Smiley

thanks for your replies,

jd

p.s. by the way... "cmsms team", you did a great work!

I try to installed this FLVmodule for so long and it never works until this morning. The trick ?
install CGExtensions first! that's all.

Now that it's installed, i can try it out. I'll be back on this matter soon. Good luck too all of you and thanx CalGuy.

You can find it here: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/cgextensions/

I've developed a function to show flash-videos.
It's a kinda smart 'workaround' and NOT a module (with it's features).  Wink
But: it works.

This may help:

It's in german - but it's easy to get the essence.
