 Huh

CMSMS Version 1.4.1 /// Album Module Version 0.9.3

So, I'm experiencing some funky things happening with the album module and I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and might be able to help me.

The problem is happening when I delete an album.  First of all, the album is deleted from within the admin area, but the link to it is not deleted from the menu on the front end.  Also, if you click the front end link to the supposedly deleted album, you get the following message:

"There are no pictures in this album.Error: The template named "" that this Album is set to use does not exist. Please go to the Album Admin Panel and assign a different template to this Album."

I know that I could manually delete it from the database, but that won't help my client, as she will be adding/deleting albums frequently and it will not be advantageous for me to make database edits every time she needs something.

Thanks for your time and effort helping me!!!

Jack

 Grin

So, this was a n008 mistake, but I forgot to delete the page that the album was on from Content -> Pages.  So, the quirky-ness is mine and not the album module's.  Problem solved!

So you are verifying that Album is working as it should Wink...

Yes if you call album tag on/in a page and delete the album then you need to remove that albums call/tag Smiley...

Go to Extensions » Modules/Tags click the name of the module/tag or the word Help to the right to get the parameters it takes...
Right click and view source is a great way to see what you have to work with...
Not sure what ver. CMSMS, PHP, server OS, etc. look at the System Information page...
OK if you removed the default content read it here... http://multiintech.com/defaultcontent/
