Hi,

i run the latest CMS on a apache/mysql system with latest php. Just if you want to know. The issue is the following: Some files, including pdf, doc and some others are not visible to the file manager and fckeditor, though they are on the server, confirmed by checking them with ftp and ssh. Other files, like gif, jpg, etc,..are visible and can be selected e.g. with the fckeditor's file selector. Why are some files visible, others not. I signed full access rights to them, even then, they are not visible, but they are physically there!

Thansk for any replies!

Regards

Kerem

How are you trying to find them?...

Highlighting a word and clicking the link/chain thing, or trying the add an image?...

Go to Extensions Modules/Tags click the name of the module/tag or the word Help to the right to get the parameters it takes...
Not sure what ver. CMSMS, PHP, server OS, etc. try the Support Tool in your page...
CMSMS hosting available now, with installation, let me know if your interested...

WHY oh why, can anyone tell me, does it seem like no one reads all the pages that come with a default install.

OK if you removed the default content read it here... http://multiintech.com/default/

Mark

This is exactly the same problem I and others have posted about before. Which has not been solved yet.

This occurs when using the insert/edit button within the FCKeditor WYSIWYG
I have one PC it happens on yet it does not on my laptop. Both my computers have identical browsers, firewalls etc. I have looked at many settings but cannot find an answer to this problem with FCKeditor. I have the latest versions of CMS and FCKeditor

I sure hope someone else has an answer.
