hi,

i have a client site running cmsms 1.2 with a gazillion content pages, albums and modules.
now i want to update the NMS module to ver. 2.1 which requires cmsms 1.2.3.

can i just overwrite the exsisting 1.2 version or do i have to make a clean install of cmsms,
including reinstalling all the galleries and pages i have running now?

greets, rootkid

Backup first and UPGRADE (from 1.2 I don't understand because you must make a clean install).
Look in Documentation for upgrade steps

Hello kid,

a client site running cmsms 1.2 with a gazillion content pages

Don't forget to put this site in the Show Off Smiley

Back up, back up and back up. Files and database. Know how to restore.
Then upgrade following the doc. Then upgrade NMS.
